Food safety - step1 Clean

Germs that cause food poisoning can survive in many places and spread around your area.

1. Wash your hands

20 seconds with soap and warm or cold water before, during, and after preparing food and before eating.

2. After handling

Always wash your hands after handling uncooked meat, chicken, and other poultry, seafood, flour, or eggs.

3. Wash your utensils
Wash your utensils, cutting boards, and countertops with hot, soapy water after preparing each food item.

4. Under running water
Rinse fresh fruits and vegetables under running water.
